Alfafa/Dandelion/Milk Thistle/Psyllium

Dandelion (Taraxacum)

Milk Thistle (Carduus mar)

‘Helpful for preventing and eliminating gall stones; reducing cholesterol levels while improving the “good” kind; in cirrhosis and psoriasis; for hepatitis, diabetes, fatty liver and chemical exposure. Milk thistle is a good companion when you are getting chemo or taking a wide array of prescription drugs.

Alfalfa

Digestive stimulant, stimulates and tones the liver.  Need the digestive stimulant to help the liver herbs clear the system.

Psyllium

Contains soluble fibre, which can be beneficial for irritable bowel syndrome (Chouinard, 2011; Suares & Ford, 2011; Yoon, Grundmann, Koepp & Farrell, 2011).

1gm of herbs (1 rounded tspn) = 30mg of Vit C

Can be safely taken for 3 months continually, then 3 weeks off, then 3 weeks on periodically.  As advised by a practitioner.
